Jason has become a brilliant mentor to us both in guiding a sale and even purchases he isn’t part of but has helped us with tricky decisions. They are true to their word, professional and know the market like no other. I’ve never had to chase feedback or question a viewing. Extremely diligent and hard working. Thanks (again) guys.

I recently used Read Maurice to sell my house in Cheltenham and they were brilliant. From visiting the property and giving helpful guidance through to listing the sale particulars online and showing people round they were polite, professional, friendly and easily contactable. They found a buyer for the house in 2 days… that is impressive!

Right from the house valuation, we received honest feedback from Jason and a sensible approach to marketing the property which also included great photos of our house. This approach certainly paid off as we received offers in the first week.

Were fantastic throughout the end to end sales process. They were always up to date and on the ball in driving to our agenda of a quick completion before Christmas and worked hard to ensure that this was achieved. They managed to find that perfect balance between the frequency of chasing all relevant parties (including solicitors) in the chain and at the same time maintaining high professional standards as not to come across too pushy.

Was only when I received my Christmas card from Read Maurice (especially thoughtful as I bought my apartment in May!) that I remembered I hadn’t provided a review! I wanted to, because every aspect of my experience with Read Maurice was positive. They were patient, they listened, they helped over and above what would normally be expected of an estate agent, and especially given that my experience of just about every other estate agent was pretty-much the opposite, working with Read Maurice was a genuine pleasure.

I think perhaps the biggest thing for me is that they manage that rare trick of providing a very high-quality service – where you really feel like you’re engaged in a process that is somewhat more sophisticated than the norm – combined with the feeling that they’re like ‘friends next door’ who have your best interests at heart, can have a laugh and who you can call pretty-much any time for advice. I think right from the start you know that they’re ‘on your side’, and that sort of reassuring experience is invaluable.

A first class service from start to finish from an extremely professional and friendly team. Their care, advice and help in the sale of my elderly Aunt’s house in Cheltenham have been exceptional.

I bought my lovely new home via Reed Maurice after an extensive search and three false starts. I know everyone says everything happens for a reason. In my case this was very true. My new home is perfect, far more so than the first one I fell in love with, which broke my heart when the sale fell thru.

Chloe was my initial contact at RM. Patient, positive and eternally pleasant she really listened to what I wanted and would proactively call me with suggestions.

So much so that the home I eventually bought was in an entirely different area of Cheltenham that I had not considered, but the house was a perfect match to my wish list and Hatherley has exceeded my expectations. Quiet, beautiful views, well kept properties and good connections into central Cheltenham. Or a short cycle. I’ve lost 1/2 a stone without trying.

Martin was the main contact through the purchase. He’s very hard to read as he is thoroughly professional, no nonsense and rarely betrays his own views or emotions. Making him a level head, trusted advisor and entirely straight forward to deal with.

The only reason this review is not a 5 is that another member of the team did a bit of unnecessary “mansplaining” to me about what “best and final” means. However this didn’t detract from an overall brilliant experience.

We bought our home via Read Maurice earlier this year . They were an absolute pleasure to work with, very communicative, responsive, professional and friendly.

Helpful and efficient

We originally purchased our property in 2014 from Read Maurice – they were so good when it came time to sell, it was a simple choice. Jason and Chloe were brilliant in assisting us in getting a difficult sale exchanged and completed. We would highly recommend Read Maurice to anyone looking to sell their house.
